Store Description
For those on a quest for the perfect bowl of authentic tonkotsu without breaking the bank, Ramen Kuroda at Glorietta 5 is a top-tier choice on Level 2. This restaurant is celebrated for bringing the genuine taste of Japan to Makati, offering a clean, minimalist, and efficient dining environment that mimics a classic Tokyo noodle shop. It is an excellent spot for office workers on a quick lunch break or families looking for a satisfying, soul-warming meal after a busy afternoon of shopping.
The restaurant’s undeniable draw is its "triple threat" of signature broths, each meticulously prepared to satisfy different palates. Ramen Kuroda prides itself on making high-quality Japanese cuisine accessible, featuring exceptionally value-packed set meals that pair their famous noodles with rice bowls or side dishes. It is a must-visit for diners who value consistency and authenticity, providing a rich, creamy umami experience that has made it a beloved staple in the local ramen scene.
The menu is anchored by the "Big Three": the classic Shiro Ramen, the garlic-infused Kuro Ramen, and the spicy Aka Ramen. For those with a hearty appetite, the Ramen Gyoza Set offers a complete feast, while the Kuroda Basic Bento provides a luxurious variety including salmon sashimi and tempura. If you're looking for a unique twist, the Bari Kara Ramen delivers a serious heat kick, which pairs perfectly with a side of their crispy Chicken Karaage or a refreshing Matcha Ice Cream for dessert.
