YABU: House of Katsu is the ultimate destination for authentic Japanese cutlets, centrally located on Level 2 of the Main Mall at SM Mall of Asia. As the pioneer of the katsu movement in the Philippines, Yabu has mastered the art of breading and deep-frying premium meats to achieve a perfectly crisp, non-greasy golden crust and a tender, juicy interior.
The dining experience at Yabu is defined by quality and tradition. Each meal is a generous set served with premium Koshihikari Japanese rice, savory miso soup, and fresh fruit. A major highlight is the unlimited, finely shredded organic cabbage with their famous Goma (sesame) dressing. Before the first bite, guests participate in a unique ritual: hand-grinding fresh sesame seeds to mix into Yabu's special house-made Tonkatsu sauce.
Yabu's menu is anchored by the prized Kurobuta Pork Set, often hailed as the "Kobe beef of pork" for its exceptional marbling and flavor.
