Store Description
A culinary journey to Japan begins at Botejyu, located on Level 3 of the Atrium at SM Megamall. Established in Osaka in 1946, Botejyu is a pioneer in bringing authentic and traditional Japanese street food to the world. The restaurant offers a wide-ranging menu that goes beyond common Japanese fare, providing a true taste of local gourmet from different regions of Japan.
The unique concept of Botejyu is reflected in its name, which mimics the sounds of cooking. “Bote” is the sound of flipping okonomiyaki, while “jyu” represents the sizzling sound on the teppan grill. This commitment to authenticity is carried through in their ingredients, with 70% of their core materials, from meats to sauces, imported directly from Japan.
A must-try is their Okosoba, an original dish that combines okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Other signature dishes include their fluffy Okonomiyaki, rich Pork Tonkotsu Ramen, and the All Star Takoyaki, which is topped with six different sauces. The menu also offers a wide selection of teppanyaki, sushi, and donburi rice bowls to satisfy any craving.
